Explore how the nervous system can influence the way a person holds, moves and responds, and how familiar protective patterns can develop.

Day 4 — Movement, Compensation & Adaptability
Look beyond perfect alignment and explore movement variability, compensation and the importance of having options.

Day 5 — Stress, Emotions & the Body
Understand how emotional and physiological states can influence breathing, posture, movement and muscle tone without assigning emotions to particular muscles.

Day 6 — Integration: Working With the Whole Body
Bring these ideas together and consider the body as an interconnected system of movement, sensation, breathing and adaptation.

Day 7 — Bringing Functional Somatics Into Massage Practice
Learn how to bring observation, reassessment and clinical curiosity into the massage practice you already have.
